What We Do
The Coalition for Collaborative Governance advocates for the City of Lawrence to fully align its culture, policies, and practices with its Strategic Plan.
We advocate for the City to become more transparent, collaborative, and accountable in its relationship with its community members.
Our coalition will offer insightful resident analysis of several City projects to identify practices that ened improvements and successful practices that could be employed across all government departments.
Our resident knowledge and analysis will provide a foundation for improvements in our City’s processes and in our community’s relationship with our government. We believe that complex problems are best solved when more people with different perspective collaborate.
Our Goals

Promote solutions to make our local governments’ cultures, policies, and practices more transparent, collaborative, and accountable.
